Our Process

Initial consultation

Our process begins with the initial phone call, email, or text message. Our goal is to figure out what our clients wants and needs are, what the current space looks like, and a budget they have in mind (if any). From there we are able to give them an estimate based on the size of the project, typical materials, and using similar projects in that area to come to an approximate estimate that we will finalize during an in home consultation.

Proposal

We will then reach out to set up a time to see your home, take measurements, discuss further detail about timeline, material, scheduling and how the process will look like if you choose to move forward with Oak Hearth Homes.

Designing

This is where the fun part begins! One of our favorite parts of the whole experience is sitting down with our customers and designing the project of there dreams! All of the design work is done in house so there is no need to seek a third party designer. We go through kitchen layout, style of cabinets, accessories, colors, paints, countertops, backsplash, all the important design staples and where we can source them for the project. All of this is done well in advance to ensure all material will arrive in time for our goal start date. We won’t begin demolition until we have acquired the material necessary.

Demolition/ construction

Finally we get our hands dirty and begin the construction process of the project. Breaking down the old to make room for the new. Our team uses the upmost care and respect when working in our home. Taking steps to protect your belongings and the areas that we won’t be working in. Floor coverings are always used to protect the existing floors and anything valuable or special to our customers will be moved to another area away from the project. A dumpster is supplied for every project necessary to recycle and dispose of all building materials, debris, and trash throughout the project.

Installation to final touches

Throughout the installation and construction phase we will be in constant contact with you and providing guidance on any question that come up along the way. We pride ourselves on our communication and responsiveness when handling any of our customers questions and concerns. You can expect our team to show up on time and focused on your project the entire time we are there. As well, you can expect us to respect your space when we are in it as well as when we leave it, picking up after ourselves and never leaving a mess larger than we started with. From start to finish you’ll be blown away by how much care and attention we give to our clients.
